Why do I love creating abstract art?
I believe the more deeply one becomes absorbed in creating something using one’s own thought process, intuition, and emotions the more enjoyable and satisfying the result. While working on an abstract composition I get enormous pleasure from the discovery of new insights, the fun of visual problem-solving, and the joy of creating something that is one-of-a-kind and would not be in the world were it not for that process.
The viewer who puts forth the time and effort to have a serious encounter with abstract art will have a most enjoyable and rewarding experience. They will make new connections with art and the world and with their own life experiences. That is the gift I hope to give those who look at my art.
